Clean the tattooed area first with Aftercare Foam Cleanser or a gentle wash. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of ointment — a small amount is sufficient. Reapply 2–3 times daily during healing, always to clean skin.
What is Vitamin A & D Ointment?
A lanolin and petrolatum-based ointment with vitamins A and D, widely used across the tattoo and aesthetics industry as a standard aftercare product. It keeps the healing skin moisturised and helps prevent scabbing.
How is this different from Aftercare Balm?
Vitamin A & D Ointment is a traditional ointment with a petroleum base — the standard product most tattoo studios provide after a session. Aftercare Balm is our own-brand healing product. Both support the healing process and can be used interchangeably based on your preference.
Why does it come in a 4-pack?
Each tube is a single-use size designed for hygiene — use a fresh tube each time rather than re-dipping into an open container. Four tubes will typically see you through the initial healing period of a standard tattoo.
Can I use it alongside Aftercare Foam Cleanser?
Yes — that is the recommended routine. Clean with the Foam Cleanser, pat dry, then apply a thin layer of ointment. Clean first, heal second.
