Pump a small amount onto clean hands. Gently apply to the tattooed area — do not scrub. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Follow with Aftercare Balm or Vitamin A & D Ointment. Use 2–3 times daily during the initial healing period.
Why do I need a separate cleanser for my tattoo?
Fresh tattoos are open wounds. Standard soaps and body washes contain fragrances, dyes, and harsh surfactants that can irritate the healing skin and affect ink retention. Aftercare Foam Cleanser is formulated specifically for post-tattoo cleansing — it cleans without introducing ingredients that could compromise healing.
When should I first use it?
Use it the first time you unwrap and clean your tattoo after your session. Your artist will advise how long to leave the initial wrap on — typically a few hours, or overnight if using a protective film.
How long should I keep using it?
Use it throughout the active healing period — typically the first 2 to 3 weeks. Once the skin has fully closed and peeling has finished, you can return to your normal washing routine.
Do I apply it before or after Aftercare Balm?
Before. Always clean first, then apply your healing product (Aftercare Balm or Vitamin A & D Ointment) to clean, dry skin.
Can I use it on cosmetic procedures like microblading?
Yes. The cleanser is suitable for any post-procedure skin that needs gentle cleansing during the healing period.
